PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY

As an executive search organisation, our clients’ and candidates' privacy forms the cornerstone of our business.

Rest assured that any personal data shared with us will be guarded with utmost confidentiality.

At CnetG, we do not share your personal details with any prospective employers without your prior consent. Hence, you can rest assured that your resume is treated with respect to your right to privacy.

We also ensure that the identity of our Client organisations’ are protected. When an organisation engages our search division, the first step we will undertake will be to determine whether they prefer to remain confidential. If this is requested, a confidential search will be conducted without revealing the clients identity to any prospective job applicant until further advice.

The Personal Data Protection Act now allows us to formalize our practices. As a talent or client who shares your personal data, you can be assured that our commitment here is that we will, at all times, strive compliance with the seven principles of the PDPA as shown below:

THE GENERAL PRINCIPLE

We will only collect information from you which we believe are needed for purposes of recruiting you into the organisation that best fits your skills, qualifications and requirements.

You may choose to share with us your specific targeted employers and we will accordingly here endeavour to ensure that any personal data we collect is designed to meet this objective.

NOTICE AND CHOICE

Where a job opportunity presents itself, we will contact you directly to notify you of its availability and to assess your interest in applying for it. We will not distribute your resume here without your prior approval.

Furthermore, upon registering with us, we will ensure that you are given the explicit choice on your preferences for how you want to be contacted, the types of employers you are interested in and whether you want your application to be only used for a specific job vacancy, a specified time-period or prospective employers in the future.

The choice here will always reside with you.

DISCLOSURE

There will be times that we may work with other third parties to facilitate our recruitment endeavours. Where this occurs, you can be rest assured that we will at all times seek your consent prior to sharing any of your personal information with them.

You do not have to worry here about we sharing your details, without your knowledge, to any third party recruiters or recruitment agencies, employers or background checking firms.

RETENTION OF INFORMATION

CnetG has a policy of continually maintaining accurate and updated information of our candidates in ensuring we achieve your aim of securing the best possible employment.

We will continue to confidentially maintain your personal details here but you, at any point in time, have the right to request the removal of your personal details/application kept with us. You can do so by sending us an enquiry here. Following this, we will delete and destroy your records from out confidential files within a period of 21 days and proceed to inform you accordingly once we have performed this.

RETENTION GUIDELINE

CnetG takes great care in the security of your personal information collected and has put in place various security measures and procedures as a professional organisation.

Your data is only accessed by selected authorized individuals within our organisation who are provided with authorized user level access and password management systems. Great care is also done in handling any hard copies of recruitment information you share with us and, once it is no longer required, is maintained in secure locations with clear log files kept detailing any access to your data.

CnetG respects the integrity of the information collected and while we will take reasonable steps to secure your accurate personal information that we collect and hold, you are responsible for providing accurate, not misleading, up to date info of yourself and other person’s personal information you have provided.
